Break Free From Overgiving And People Pleasing

Break Free From Overgiving And People Pleasing

Let's face it - we have all agreed to do things we know we don't have the time, energy, or motivation to do. Are you constantly saying "yes" when deep down you're screaming "no"? It's time to reclaim your power and redefine your boundaries. In this episode, I discuss the issue of people pleasing, overgiving, and learning how to set boundaries with my guest, Claudia Braun.
Claudia Braun is a mindset and lifestyle coach dedicated to supporting women who find themselves overextended, bogged down by the compulsion to always say 'yes,' and consequently feeling drained. Claudia shares her insights on how a pattern of overgiving and people-pleasing may stem from deep-seated programming since childhood. Together, we explore strategies for reclaiming personal power, discussing the significance of internal validation, setting boundaries, and the art of authentically owning your 'yes' and your 'no.' Whether you're navigating the complexities of divorce or simply seeking balance, this episode offers valuable takeaways for anyone looking to shift into a life of mindful presence and self-compassion.
Here are just a few of the insights Claudia shares:
    - Pause Before You Say 'Yes': Before automatically agreeing to requests, pause and evaluate if it's a genuine 'yes' or a conditioned response. Give yourself permission to say 'no' and honor your own needs and boundaries.
    - Decommission Old Programming: Reflect on the stories you've been told since childhood and consider how they influence your behavior. Awareness and acceptance are the first steps toward transforming how we live and promoting self-care.
    - Align Your Passions: Share your passions openly with loved ones, especially children, to model the importance of following one's own path. Embracing what you love sets a powerful example for others about balancing work, interests, and relationships.
So, if you've ever found yourself wrestling with the guilt of saying 'no' or struggling to prioritize your own needs, tune in and join us for this transformative dialogue.
    About the Guest:
Claudia Braun's a Mindset & Lifestyle coach for professional women over 40, exhausted from giving at the expense of themselves. For women who are making choices based on who she thinks she should be, instead of who she wants to be. Claudia invites them to consider: what would your life be like if you felt true fulfillment, inner peace, and were flourishIng. She's been Coaching women for 10 years and on a spiritual path for over 30, her passion's empowering women, to have the strategies and tools to release habits and beliefs keeping them stuck so that they can uncover their dreams and let go of the guilt and obligation that keeps them feeling stuck and trapped. Her mission & philosophy: When you change your thinking, and clear old beliefs holding you back —you can't help but feel fulfillment and greater!

Debunking Hypnosis Myths and Discovering Rapid Transformation

Debunking Hypnosis Myths and Discovering Rapid Transformation

Have you ever wondered why sometimes making changes in life is so difficult? If you find you are sabotaging yourself or you just can’t seem to make any headway, hypnotherapy may be the ideal solution.
My guest Karen Ross is a hypnotherapist who works with people of all ages to overcome challenges and blocks. Many people think of stage antics and mind control when hypnotherapy comes up. Karen is here to demystify those misconceptions and share how hypnotherapy can rapidly address issues like chronic pain, sleep disorders, fears, and self-limiting beliefs.
Karen explains how hypnotherapy works, highlight its safe and relaxing nature, and offers insight into how changing our subconscious beliefs can lead to lasting, positive changes in our lives. So, if you're curious about hypnotherapy or seeking a powerful tool for personal growth, today's episode promises an enlightening conversation that offers the potential of rapid and profound change.
    About the Guest:
People come to Karen when they are gripped with anxiety and stress even though they’re successful and high-performing in business and personally. As a certified hypnotherapist, she helps them overcome these overwhelming feelings with techniques used by some of the most celebrated and successful people – like Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Oprah, Elon Musk – many actors and performers – even historical figures like Winston Churchill and Albert Einstein. These are just a few who have used hypnotherapy to solve seemingly insurmountable problems. Hypnosis is used now in work-famous medial settings like Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, and others. Karen also helps people become non-smoker, lose or gain weight, sleep soundly, and relieve chronic pain. People ask her “Will hypnosis help with ______?” She answers with a resounding “YES”. A former radio show host herself, she now enjoys helping people find freedom from issues that have often troubled them for years.
